Well, I have finally become a seller on TPT.   As of now, I only have free items listed.  I am unable to get onto the seller's forum to see how to price activities I have made.  Please visit my store and leave feedback about the activities I have there.  Hopefully I will get an answer to my email soon, and can add my 'better' products.  I never knew how good my things could look with added graphics.  WoW!

A freebie in honor of Pam

One blog I frequented/stalked often was from the Vintage Teacher.  I always looked forward to her Five Friday Freebies.  In November,  I continued to go to her blog, but there were  no updates.  I thought, maybe, she had changed her blog name.  Me, being a 'newbie blogger' didn't really know.  Then, two days ago, I learned of the passing of the Vintage Teacher, Pam.  It saddens me to know that someone so passionate about sharing her love for teaching has left us.  The blogging world, as well as, students, parents, and fellow teachers will miss her greatly.  I didn't know her personally, but I felt that through her blogging, I did know her in the virtual world.    Also, her family asked that each of her products on Teachers Notebook be free.  You may click on her Vintage Teacher blogger button to go to her TN store.

Free Clothespin Activity for Math

I made this math activity this morning to show the KG teachers at my school how easy it is to quickly make a center activity.  Granted, this is a combination of counting, addition, and subtraction, but I wanted to show them different ways to use the clothes pins.  I got a bargain on a 50 pack of clothespins for 8 cents at Lowes.  Needless to say, I had to go back and get more, and this past Saturday I got 13 packs!  I need to just go and clean them out! haha  Anyway, I hope you enjoy this simple clothespin activity.  Digital art courtesy of Lettering Delights!

How Do You Know You Are A Teacher by Jeff Foxworthy

I saw this on FaceBook this morning, and had to 'pin' it, now I am putting it on my bog.  It actually came from Diary of a Public School Teacher's blog.  How true are these statements???!!!


I walked into the copy room and this was sitting on a table with the words: “This is a must READ “.
I agree, and I think it is also a “Must SHARE!” I Googled it and realized it has been around for years, but I got a laugh out of most of them!:)

1. You get a secret thrill out of laminating things.
2. You can hear 25 voices behind you and know exactly which one belongs to the child out of line.
3. You walk into a store and hear the words, “It’s Ms./Mr. ____________ and know you have been spotted.
4. You have 25 people who  accidentally call you Mom/Dad at one time or another.
5. You can eat a multi-course meal in under 25 minutes.
6. You’ve trained yourself to go to the bathroom at two distinct times of the day, lunch and planning period.
7. You start saving other people’s trash, because most likely, you can use that toilet paper tube or plastic butter tub for something in the classroom.
8. You believe the Teacher’s Lounge should be equipped with a margarita machine.
9. You want to slap the next person who says, “Must be nice to work 7 to 3 and have summers off”.
10. You believe chocolate is a food group.
11. You can tell if it’s a full moon without ever looking outside.
12. You believe that unspeakable evils will befall you if anyone says, “Boy, the kids are sure mellow today.”
13. You feel the urge to talk to strange children and correct their behavior when you are out in public.
14. You believe in aerial spraying of Ritalin.
15. You think caffeine should be available in intravenous form.
16. You spend more money on school stuff than you do on your own children.
17. You can’t pass the school supply aisle without getting at least 5 items!
18. You ask your friends to use their words and explain if the left hand turn he made was a “good choice” or “bad choice.”
19. You find true beauty in a can full of perfectly sharpened pencils.
20. You are secretly addicted to hand sanitizer.
21. You understand, instantaneously, why a child behaves in a certain way after meeting his/her parents.

Barnes and Noble StoryTime and my Scoop It page

I know I know.......I have been so busy with everything going on with the holidays then returning to school, that I neglected all the bloggers out there!  So sorry......Today I want to remind bloggers about Barnes and Noble's StoryTime online.....this month is Snuggle Puppy read by the author Sandra Boynton.
